I am currently a mechanical design engineer for Sensata Technologies, and have worked on several wireless sensor projects including weight sensors and wheel end sensors.

One of the projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on at Sensata Technologies is the Watchman Wheel-End Sensor, which we developed in collaboration with Hendrickson, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of medium and heavy-duty suspensions. The Wheel-End Sensor is a tire and axle monitoring sensor that allows fleets to monitor the health of their assets through temperature and pressure data. As well as contributing to the design and development of this product, I led the team through the design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) process, identifying potential risk and mitigations for different failure modes. I also led the team in the design validation testing for this product, leading to a successful planning and completion of testing and progressing the sensor toward production.
